Compassion and person-centred care
Care work is built on seeing the person, not the task. Employers want to know you'll respect each client's preferences, routines and dignity rather than rushing through a checklist.
Evidence to prepare
- Describe a time you adapted your approach to suit someone's individual needs or preferences
- Give an example of helping someone maintain their independence or dignity
- Explain how you've shown patience when someone was struggling or taking longer than expected
